    • Irritates Skin

I have now found out that I have a negative reaction to "acrylates" which is in this product and in the adhesive of band-aids. I also have a negative reaction to Propylene Glycol which was in the former Clinical Instant Calm Redness Relief Solution.

Didn't live up to its claims

        Best Uses

I have red inflammed skin on my neck. This product claims to be for Extra Sensitive Skin, Redness, Rosacea and reduces redness & reinforces healthy barrier function.

I don't know what ingredient that is in this that I react to. When I applied it stung and inflammed my skin even more. I am so pleased that I only bought samples but at the same time I am disappointed that, since this is meant to calm redness, it didn't. There use to be a similiar product once called redness relief and I had exactly the same reaction.

I am now going to try samples of the Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner to see whether or not I react to it.

Great toner - just not for dry / very dry skin

          By Jacqui

          from Sydney, Australia

          Pros

          • Gentle
          • Improves Skin Texture

          Cons

            Best Uses

            • All Skin Types
            • Combination Skin
            • Daily Use

I tried a sample of this first and was pleased with the sample and went on to order a full size toner and moisturiser for dry skin in the redness relief range... While this a gentle toner which smooths out my skin, it is just not moisturising enough for my dry skin! This would be better suited to normal / combination skin as it has a light powdery feel and does reduce redness.

My skin easily changes due to a number of reasons (work environment, natural environment, stress, sleep, diet, hormones) and so I am constantly changing products. However, I have nearly finished a bottle of this product (I hardly ever finished a bottle of one product because I have many on rotation). I will definitely be purchasing more because no matter how my skin changes, this always has a positive effect upon it.
