Additional Information

Why is it different?

Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum is formulated with proven ingredients that not only fade the appearance of scars, but also smooth the skin's texture and promote optimal healing. High concentrations of the antioxidant quercetin, Vitamin C and numerous skin-healing and skin-repairing ingredients reduce redness and inflammation, and dramatically minimise scar texture and restore normal colour.

What does it do?
This advanced complex helps prevent and reduce the formation of scars on newly healed wounds and helps older scars feel softer and smoother so they're less apparent. Results are long-lasting and can be visible in as little as 8 weeks of daily use.

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

I am a massive fan of Paula's products and have used them religiously for 10 years. My facial skin is amazing and people always guess my age 5-8 years younger. But this treatment hasn't done ANYTHING to reduce the scar which was a result of a mole removal. A few months down the track, it is still an angry purple. For similar surgeries, I have used a silicone patch in the past and results were great.

3 days and scars are almost gone

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

This is the best product I have ever bought. I have used it for three days morning and night. I have red scars over the bridge of my nose, when I was younger I was badly sun burnt and peeled. I scratched it so badly that I have had a red line over my nose for most of my life. I also got too enthusiastic about popping pimples in my teens and have a permanent red dot on the end of my nose. Both scars are almost gone.

I was so impressed I stayed using it on my daughter who has had a few major accidents that almost needed stitches on her face. They are slowly fading.

I have bought a third bottle of this. Was surprised in the change of packaging but have been applying this nonetheless. I think it had made a difference to the scar on my chest. Faded the redness. I now no longer worry about getting new scars because I know that I have PC scar gel to reduce it. Wish it was in a bigger container though or less expensive.

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

I feel mixed about this product - I think its efficacy really depends on what type of scar you have. My scar was from some Frankenstein doctor who used acid to burn a mole off rather than cutting it, saying it wouldn't leave as much of a scar (WRONG). Unfortunately, the serum didn't do much for it. But it did seem to work better on a minor burn on my arm. Has a resinous colour/texture that makes me think it means business (in a skin healing sense)

I'm impressed by how long the 15ml has lasted though, it goes a long way.

1 bottle didn't work for me

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

I've now finished one bottle on (1) a surgical scar, and (2) a scar left after a skin abrasion. I began using this serum about 2 weeks after developing the scars. Disappointingly, I didn't notice any improvement! I can vouch for several other Paula's Choice products but not this one (not for me and my skin/scars anyway).

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

After reading some positive reviews I was hopeful this product would work for me. I recently had a small mole removed and a stitch tore which has resulted in a red scar. I applied the product twice a day as directed and even waited for it to sink into my skin before putting sun-cream or anything on it (which it recommends to do if you're outside).
I've finished the bottle and still no changes in the before an after photos which is upsetting.

I feel like this product may work on surface or old scar tissue, but I wouldn't recommend for any deep or coloured scars/stitches etc. I also found that for the size, the product is super expensive.

Next day results with surface scars from acne

Comments about Clinical Scar-Reducing Serum - 15 ml:

Originally purchased to fade a cut under my eye (healed to a barely noticeable line after weeks of consistent use), I have since used on blemishes/new acne scars with excellent results. My skin is acne prone + easily scarred, but this silky serum absorbs into the skin and noticeably promotes healing, usually necessitating only a few days application. The packaging is excellent, and along with BHA and peroxide products, I use this product to manage breakouts and fade/minimise (surface) scarring.

I ordered 2 bottles and continually using it everyday after the surgical procedure. I finished the two bottles and unfortunately It hasn't worked and I still end up with keloids.

I burnt myself badly on my Cloud Nine wand. Blistered before I could even get the ice pack on the inside of my wrist. I started putting this on the wound 1 week after it occured and 3 weeks later my scar is barely noticeable. I also burnt my thumb on the Cloud Nine prior to this and didn't use the serum. The scar had been there for about 3 weeks before I started using the serum. I have now been using the serum on it for 3 weeks and whilst it hasn't faded as quickly, it is improving each day.
