Additional Information

Why is it different?
This rich, creamy liquid is 100% fragrance-and-alcohol-free. It immediately soothes and rehydrates even the most sensitive skin while gently eliminating any trace makeup left after cleansing, leaving your complexion soft and refined.
Collapse
What does it do?
Green tea and grape leaf extract (powerful antioxidants) lessen the appearance of damage caused by environmental factors like pollution, which can lead to sagging, wrinkles, and dull skin tone. Skin-restoring sodium PCA and fatty acids help replenish then protect the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Collapse
How to use
Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and/or toning. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 15 or greater in the final step of your routine.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I have oily skin but but bought this for my sister who has dry skin. I wanted to try it out so I used it for a couple of days without a moisturizer. Doesn't seem heaps moisturizing, very lightweight. If you need a toner full of antioxidants give it a go.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I had been warned away from toners by my mother, who had heard Paula's myth busting back in the early days. I've never used them, but I thought I would try this, as I read Paula's information on how they are different.

I tried using this product in my morning and night time skin care routines. Although I don't doubt the efficacy of the product, unfortunately it tended to irritate my skin (left a hot, slightly burning sensation afterwards). It seems that my skin is far too sensitive for it.

    Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt and excellent, as always.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I tried a few samples of this product in conjunction with the Moisture Boost cleanser and moisturiser. While I love the rest of the range, I found the toner made my skin sting and turn red. I tried it a couple of times just to make sure it was this product and it happened each time. I've never thought of my skin as sensitive, but obviously something about this product disagrees with my skin. I will definitely continue using the lovely Moisture Boost cleanser and moisturiser, but I will try one of the other toners instead.

    Why does it sting

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I've tried PC toner for combination skin and received a sample of this which I decided to later buy. I do a lot of extractions so I like a toner that I feel is nipping my pores closed yet this does not contain alcohol from memory like other astringents. Should one stop using it if it stings Abit or is this a sign of irritation or effectiveness?

    It stings.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

It does noticeably help other products absorb into the skin, but it burns and makes my face red. I hope they reformulate this. Until they do, I'm going to have to keep using the much cheaper one I've been using for a long time now with the rest of my PC products.

Yes, it does sting a bit

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

Generally love Paula's Choice products, but this one I would not recommend. I'm not sure what ingredient it is, but there is some stinging that occurs when I use this product that doesn't happen with her other toners. It certainly works in terms of gently moisturizing, but I'd recommend selecting one of the other toners available here due to the mild irritation I've experienced.

    Good toner, but causes stinging

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I have been using this toner for a few months after a recommendation and it is very hydrating and has helped my skin. I find though it causes some irritation and stinging around my jawline which tends to have sensitive skin, a problem I haven't had with other toners of Paula's.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I no longer use the rest of the MB line, as I switched to the RESIST line, which works better for my combination skin. However, I have stuck with this toner. It's great for those prone to dryness, and it's very gentle on skin.

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I have been using this for years, and I can't imagine my skin without it. I have combination skin and used to have issues with flaky-yet-also-oily areas and Paula's toners fixed it. I use this one in the winter when my skin is extra dry.

    no burning and no breakouts

Comments about Moisture Boost Toner - 190 ml:

I just want to say that I have sensitive skin, and this toner did not sting or burn at all, like it did for some other reviewers. I love this toner. I have breakout prone skin, combination, sensitive, and dehydrated in the winter. My main concern is to always prevent breakouts. I use the BHA every morning. Started washing with Moisture Boost cleanser and just added this toner every night, and no breakouts at all and no dryness. Smooth skin, all makeup and cleanser gone after one cotton round.
