Finally found a super moist moisturiser

By MB

About Me Beauty Conscious

Pros

  • Moisturises
  • Softens Skin
  • Soothes Skin

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Daily Use
    • Sensitive Skin

I've been sampling and testing PC daily moisturisers for a while, I purchased Skin Recovery Replenishing Moisturiser and Clinical Ultra-Rich Moisturiser but found Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream the best and most moisturising. I have very very dry skin and normally like heavy oily moisturisers but this is smooth and light and still really moisturising. In extreme dry weather I'll add a few drops of Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster after applying to get my oil fix. I use it both morning and night and use a SPF foundation in the day.

Comments about MOISTURE BOOST Cream - 60 ml:

I was so bummed when this was discontinued as other moisturizers don't compare and now it's back! It's creamy but not too heavy and incredibly soothing, keeping moisture in my dry skin. H had a dry patch on my neck and was using unscented body lotion for dry skin on it which didn't help at all. Used a small amount of this and it felt better instantly and went away. Please don't ever stop making this, it's a skin saver.

A really good staple cream, doesn't irritate like some of the others do. Good for a non fuss routine. Feels beautiful on my skin, very moisturising. A nice product for younger- middle aged skin.

Comments about MOISTURE BOOST Cream - 60 ml:

I've combination DRY at the moment (winter skin). I exfoliate at least once a week with chemical & physical exfoliant. I can definitely tell this moisturizer works!! It's a little hard to squeeze out the tube which is maybe good considering it's so much smaller than I expected although it's lasted me well so far and I normally want to apply a lot :/. It's certainly helped my winter skin so far..Not greasy at all, even on my T-zone. Not too heavy for acne prone skin, I have none-moderate acne. Manages to keep me feeling moisturized being in air con >heaters daily. I've definitely noticed a change in the size of my pores. Maybe it's a mix of using a cleansing water with a little Niacinamide as well as the Paulas Choice Resist 0.1% Retinol serum but this has made a huge difference especially since I haven't bn using Paulas Choice exfoliants everyday like I'd like, this moisturizer has been effective despite this. I was using Aveeno moisturizer in the tube with the green lid..because I use other active ingredient products with Paulas Choice and can't afford to buy all Paulas Choice/other good brands but I'm glad I spent the extra and got this because my skins been baby soft,no other moisturizer has made it this soft ..not one without an exfoliating ingredient anyway.. I think they're phasing this line out and replacing it with the Calm. I personally like the concept of this Moisturizer because it's thick enough for dry skin but has Niacinamide and I haven't found it to be clogging at all. I do get a bit of stinging with the Moisture Boost toner yet wouldn't consider myself to have sensitive skin so I see why they're bringing in the Calm line. I'd like to try their new formulations. Hopefully they've another thickish moisturizer with Niacinamide otherwise I'll buy the new Niacinamide booster when I can.

Stellar.. always within a week of ordering.

I like the packaging of this product, its neat and clean.
I tend to get annoying dry areas sometimes, due stress and lack of sleep. so I have found that adding this cream onto these areas during the day keeps flakes away without looking greasy. If I am diligent and apply it when things get dry, those areas normalise in few days.
              Very nice.

Love love love this moisturiser! It's my favourite! It is such a beautiful emollient and leave my skin feeling so moisturised, beautiful and soft. I use it at night after applying PC Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion & Resist 1% Retinol Booster. I also use it as my eye cream for day and night. My skin is easily prone to milia and i was concerned this may cause me problems but i have been using this for about 4 months with no problems. It really feels so nourishing. Easy to use, good packaging and greta value for money.

Comments about MOISTURE BOOST Cream - 60 ml:

I bought it because I the Paula's acne products were drying my skin really terribly so I had to use moisturiser and I chose this as it claims to be non-greasy and very moisturising. However, even when I used an adequate amount my face becomes very oily looking and it really makes my makeup cake up easily. I have been using this for 2 months already and I still cannot convince myself that this is good for me. Also, I tried leaving out moisturiser one day just to see if my face is feeling more hydrated from the help of this product, but sadly it still felt very dry and I really did not feel that this product helped me much at all. Bottomline, won't buy it again.

This is my favourite product so far. It's hydrating but not oily, sticky or heavy. It glides on easily and feels beautiful on my skin. I have combination skin, and most moisturisers make me extra oily on my t zone or don't give me enough moisture where I'm dry, but not this one. It fixes both issues, love it!

I absolutely love all of Paula's choice products, they are all outstanding, and cater for everyone. Of course not everything is going to suit everyone, because we all have different skin. I love this moisture boost cream ,it's soothing and nourishing..I think your prices are very fair paula, but I'm hesitant to pay a whopping $14 for delivery of one cream,I am a pensioner. So at the moment I am just ordering 30 or so testers,so say I get 34 moisture boost testers then it works out at about 5ml less and free postage. Your products are hands down the best I've used, but postage fee is a bit steep for pensioners....
