Noticed the difference after only one day!

This is an excellent product — I saw the difference after only one day. I mix one pump's worth of product with my usual moisturiser, and it gives my skin a lovely, smooth, glowing look. Like some of the other reviewers here, I have tried the Clinical Retinol in the purple bottle, but as I aged and my skin became more sensitive, I found it was too harsh. This product is a great alternative, and I have found it suitable for my sensitive skin.

I have never written a review before, but this product is too good to be true & P.C's BEST retinol. I have combo but mostly dry skin, which is also extremely acne-prone skin, as well as sensitive *NOTE: this delightful combo of afflictions is not the result of any products that I use, it was always like this, irrespective (except when I was on Roacutane many years ago, during which time it was dry due to that). In the winter NO amount of any type of moisturiser is sufficient for overnight, & I have tried them all: from chemist brands, to Clinique, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden etc.

I do not know how, but this product is the best acne treatment AS WELL as the best dryness treatment, all without irritating the skin - I never had ANY peeling, tightness nor sensitivity from this! I use 2 pumps (not "drops") over the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid at night, then mix 2 pumps into whatever moisturiser I'm using (type & quantity depends on the season). In the winter using an enormous amount of moisturiser - even mixed with oil - still results in waking up flaky, UNLESS I add those pumps of Resist 1% Retinol Booster, then I wake up to DEWY & smooth skin, with less blackheads (most of my acne is gone now thanks to this): it makes that much difference. Plus, being a BOOSTER you really can assess its affect because it allows you so much control (to modulate products you already use that you know DO address some of your concerns).

P.C: Please for the love of God do NOT change the ingredients - the current combination allows it to be mixed with almost any other product (& to lighten texture). It also avoids EXCLUDING people - when you add a million albeit "good" ingredients there are people who then can't use it due to allergies or sensitivities - some people even have antibodies to molecules like Hyaluronic acid (Lupus sufferers for e.g). Both it & Niacinamide each make my skin burn, turn red & peel violently; between the two, I am excluded from so many of your products.

Retinol for the rest of us

This product works beautifully with my Paula's Choice moisturiser. I noticed the difference from Day 1; my skin looks smoother and more glowing. I had been getting great results with the Clinical Retinol in the purple bottle, but as I've aged my skin has become more sensitive — the 1% Booster is a great alternative for those of us with sensitive skin.

Comments about RESIST 1% Retinol Booster - 15 ml:

I found this retinol product less irritating than the one in the purple bottle (also 1%). It is very effective. After a year of using the 1% PC retinol products, I feel my face is looking younger.

Comments about RESIST 1% Retinol Booster - 15 ml:

While I liked the Clinical 1% my psoriasis ridden, sensitive skin could not cope with regular use so I was keen to try another retinol product and this one is fantastic. As the above reviewer said it seems to help with almost any problem your skin may have. Most definitely recommend, especially for anyone who found the Clinical Retinol product to be too much of a good thing for their skin.

A bit disappointed to receive this to be honest.
                I didn't realize it was only 15ml.
Better value for 30ml in the straight Retinol product, or in buying another brand in 30ml.

Comments about RESIST 1% Retinol Booster - 15 ml:

This product is amazing. I've tried different retinol products from Paula in the past and they didn't seem to suit my skin so was a bit wary of trying this and I'm absolutely blown away by the results I've experienced after I had been using it for only two weeks.

I actually noticed after 4 days of using 1 drop mixed in with my Light Antioxidant Serum that the red marks from past breakouts was fading and have continued to notice improvement since I have started using it on a more regular basis.

I now use it after using my 2% BHA Liquid and Resist Daily Smoothing 5% AHA, by mixing two drops of this at night in with my Light Antioxidant Serum followed by the Resist Skin Hydrator and one drop in the morning after using my Resist Weightless Toner before using Paula's Resist Super Light Wrinkle Defense.

I have had no irritation, no peeling, no breakouts and am loving the fact that using it in the morning makes a lovely base for my makeup without making me look oily and shiny later in the day. Keeps my makeup looking fresh all day too.

The pump is a great dispenser and using 4 pumps per day (I use a pump to spread over my chest area, it's that spreadable) for 3-4 weeks when I shake the bottle I can still tell that there is a lot of product left in it.

Plus, many of my blackheads have disappeared! I still have some but no where near as many as I had before. YAY!

As a 25+ year struggler of breakouts and oily skin this is a fantastic product and I'm so glad I took the risk in trying it out.
