I get the hype!
About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about HYDRALIGHT Shine-Free SPF 15 - 60 ml:
This is fantastic! I have very sensitive eyes and face, and my chin breaks out badly with almost all spf applications and I am 46 yrs old. The PC Clear moisturiser had been a Godsend but starting stinging my face in the last 6-9 months after 2 years of use. Then iI tried this! This moisturiser is the answer for breakout prone sensitive skin and eyes! It feels sensational and my eyes and skin feel calm. I am so thrilled! Thank you.

BEST Mineral SPF you'll find in Australia
from QLD, Australia
About Me Beauty Conscious, Beauty Geek, Beauty Student, Budget Conscious
How I use this - after moisturising everyday. Skin type - Combination skin with large pores, open comodones, hormonal/topical/contact acne at times. Skin has become drier lately and moderately sensitive to chemical SPF's.Things that are GREATHave a collection of SPFs, for some reason finding a good mineral SPF for the face (online or on the shelves)..is a MISSION in Australia. AUSTRALIA! This is anti - greasy, thick, heavy, chalky and pore blocking. So far no troubles under makeup. It's white at first and then goes to clear within seconds/minutes. Have been using this a while now along with the Resist mineral SPF (for oily skin). It doesn't cost an arm and a leg like much pricier brands especially as this is something you should use daily.. Zinc oxide can aid in wound healing and help with acne, somehow it calms it down. NOT so great - It's not $7-15 like you'd expect for us more budget conscious.. There isn't a bigger sized option.. It doesn't moisturise as the title would have you believe.. at all.. Which can be easily fixed (wear a moisturiser underneath).
Can't ever fault their delivery or customer service. I never used to purchase things online much either, too impatient and lazy to refund things if they're wrong because it'd usually such a hassle but so far I've had no troubles and everything arrives within the time they give you.
Broke me out
I'm not sure if my skin is just sensitive to an ingredient in this or what, but every time I tried to use it it caused really deep and painful pimples on my cheeks. I normally never break out there :(

I have pretty normal skin but very sensitive and get eczema if something bothers my skin. I love the hydration of the moisture boost moisturiser with spf so much so that even though it burnt my eyes each and every use I finished the bottle (also I didn't want to waste money on a product). However, the stinging was very painful all around my eyes so I had to look for a physical moisturiser with enough moisture (the recovery line is too hydrating) and this Hydralight cream is beautiful. I wish Paula's choice would give an option of both chemical and physical sunscreens for each skin type. It's a beautiful product and doesn't cause stinging but just not for winter - this would be perfect for me in summer. So I'm happy I've found my summer moisturiser!!

Wonderful for normal/combo/oily & sensitive skin types

Comments about Hydralight Shine-Free SPF 15 - 60 ml:
I have normal to dry, and sometimes normal to combination skin, but regardless, it is always sensitive and redness-prone. I do not use this moisturiser all the time, but it's my saving grace when my skin is leaning more towards the combination/oily side, particularly on a summer's day, where it leaves my skin with a perfect amount of hydration. The texture of this moisturiser is very light which makes it flow out of its bottle very easily. I juggle this moisturiser with other Paula's Choice's moisturisers, and overall, I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from rosacea, sensitivity and combination to oily skin.
My Skin Loves This
By Mel L

I switched to this sunscreen because my skin became very irritated using regular chemical sunscreen. This does not irritate me at all and is very gentle. The texture is very light and easy to spread and it dries to a matte finish on my combination skin. Couple of things I tweaked to make this product perfect for me was to put a thin layer of moisturiser over my cheeks before using as they need more TLC than the rest of my face. Also the white cast is very noticeable on my olive complexion so what I did was add some Barely There sheer matte tint and its perfect!

Not Shine Free
from Townsville, QLD, Australia
I live in a humid climate and have combination, sensitive skin. I purchased this product as a daily SPF moisturiser to wear underneath my foundation. The first time I used this product it was in the morning after applying the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA liquid. The lotion was easy to apply and absorbed well, however did not provide a matte finish. Once I applied my matte finish foundation, I achieved a dewy appearance. I decided to try the lotion again the following morning but omitting the Skin Perfecting Liquid. This time immediately after application of the Hydra-light Shine Free lotion my skin had a reaction, my face became red & hot. This reaction took quiet a few hours to subside. There was a slightly less dewy appearance after I applied my foundation compared to the day before.
Pilling up so bad on my skin :(
from Melbourne, AU
This sunscreen does have a lovely light lotion texture but it BALLS UP everytime - no matter what I put underneath. I have tried using this product without any other products underneath and the result was really satisfying - no pilling up, minimal white cast, and soft matte finish. But that wouldn't be ideal for me because I have a very complex routine and cannot live without putting bunch of skincare stuff on my face. I have a very sensitive skin and have dermatitis and this product gives me red rashes but disappear after a few minutes. Since this is a mineral-based sunscreen the white cast in this sunscreen is quite strong but it is not as bad as the skinceuticals spf50 one.
My new favourite product!
from Perth, Australia
I've always had combination skin and always had trouble finding a moisturiser that didn't dry out my skin or encourage my T-zone to be even oilier! This product is ahmahze! No drying out, no oily T-zone, no rashes and no break outs. It's helped restore my skin to looking perfect. I'm super impressed and love the price too. PC you guys are life savers!
Reasonably fast delivery to Perth (about a week)
I'm not sure if I have a bad batch, but mine smells bad, musty and reminds me of old books. It leaves my face really shiny (but once makeup done its OK) I use this because so far it's the only PC sunscreen that does not sting - all the others sting like crazy.
