Additional Information

Why is it different?
SKIN RECOVERY Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 goes above and beyond what other daytime moisturisers provide. This creamy formula replenishes dry skin for a younger-looking appearance while helping to protect from sun damage and early skin ageing. It has an abundant mix of potent antioxidants, skin-restoring ceramides, and anti-ageing peptides to visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles while adding a satin glow for skin that looks younger. Works beautifully under makeup.

It's a great product, would be nice if it has a SPF 30 option for people who live in Aussie/NZ... Initially there's a white cast (as expected), and it goes away after a minute or so. Would be nice if there's a bigger packaging as well, the tiny tube doesn't last very long.

I like, but don't love it. Waiting for the Resist SPF replacement moisturiser. At first it has a whitish cast, like all physical sunscreens, but this does disappear quickly. It is not moisturising enough for me (63 with thirsty skin) It does not irritate my eyes at all, which is great. I just need a more emollient product with SPF, but this is a good product.

Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

Have been using Skin Recovery replenishing moisturiser for sometime and I love it. I was looking for a day moisturiser with SPF so decided to give this a try. On first use I found the texture sticky and thick with none of the silky smoothness of the non SPF version. Still, I decided to keep using it in the hope I would get used to it. After only a handful of uses, I started to get dermatitis around my nose and lip. Stopped using it and put some steroid cream on the rash and it is now starting to clear up. I'm a big fan of Paula's choice products but unfortunately this one isn't great for me.

Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

This is a lovely sunscreen - it's very light and while it doesn't fully rub into the skin that's fine - that's the nature of mineral sunscreen! Slightly less moisturizing than the non-SPF one but I just dab a bit of moisturizer on before using this. However I won't be repurchasing this until the SPF is at least 30 - I know Paula's Choice is working on that and I hope it will be sometime soon,

Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

I originally ordered a now discontinued SPF moisture but it got lost in the post and I grabbed this one instead and what a pleasant surprise!
Despite the reviews I don't find the texture to be greasy rather soaking right in.
The only con would be the smell and if it's a hot day it sweats right off so you do need to keep reapplying which isn't ideal because of the price/bottle size.
Other than that I would definitely recommend it!

Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

I have used a number of Paula's choice products, including two other moisturisers with SPF and this one is the worst. It remains greasy on the skin and does not absorb well. Ineffective for use under make-up whereby the make-up just slides off. Also leaves a white cast on the face (and excessive shine) so It is not desirable to wear alone.

Much prefer the RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 15 - A fantastic product that does exactly what it claims.

Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

This moisturiser was recommended to me after I tried (and reacted badly to) the PC Resist SPF daily moisturiser. I was determined to try a moisturiser with a sunscreen in it as I was also trialing the PC AHA exfoliant.
At first, this cream was lovely to apply. It glided on and did not feel heavy, but that's about as good as it got. I was told it would feel a little "tacky/sticky" after application (it did), but that this feeling would fade over the day (it did not). This moisturiser didn't sink into my skin and felt as though it had set on my face (a similar feeling I got with the Resist SPF moisturiser). I felt that the fine lines on my forehead and my smile lines were all enhanced by this cream, rather than reduced.
There was about an hour towards the end of the day where I ran my hand over my skin and it felt wonderfully smooth to touch, but my skin never felt or looked hydrated - rather if felt as though I was wearing a mask all day. I also have several dry patches on my chin and around my nose (from a previous reaction to a PC product), which this cream made dryer.
I had high hopes for this cream, but sadly, it wasn't to be.

At first I didnt think I would like this product as it was really thick and felt greasy but once rubbed in my skin soon soaked it in and it didnt feel greasy any more it actually made my skin feel nice and soft.
My sensitive skin hasnt had any irritation to this product.

my only negative is you need to be careful of white marks and making sure you have rubbed in completely.

Comments about Skin Recovery Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

While my skin can sometimes be normal to dry, a lot of the time it can also be normal to oily. Henceforth, when I initially brought this moisturiser I was a little hesitant as I feared that it would turn out to be too rich for my skin (it is targeted for normal, dry and very dry skin types), but I was prompted to purchase it because I also have rosacea-prone and sensitive skin. After I used it, I was pleasantly surprised and extremely relieved to discover that I had absolutely no reason to be nervous about trying out this moisturiser. This moisturiser was not heavy for me at all. It has an absolutely beautiful texture and immediately sinks into my skin without making it feel greasy. It provided a perfect amount of hydration. It is one of the best Paula's Choice moisturisers I have used and I will definitely repurchase it.

Comments about Skin Recovery Lotion SPF 15 - 60 ml:

I've tried dozens of sunscreens from numerous brands including Paula's and this one I've settled on as the very nicest. I love that it's mineral based as that seems to prevent brown spots on my cheeks better than the other formulas. Many mineral sunscreens cause my skin to dry out on top though (probably from retinoid use) and I get pesky flaky bits developing through the day. Yuck! This sunscreen along with the now discontinued Pure Mineral (my very favourite) never cause those dry bits to occur. I have combination skin and though this is a moisturising sunscreen I've never had a problem with blocked pores. Though this is a white liquid cream it rubs in very well for me. I use Paula's concealer on top.
