NEW HOLY GRAIL SPF!

5

Beautifully formulated product, this has become by far my favorite moisturizer with SPF for oily skin from the PC's range after trying several other options such as: RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30, RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 15, HYDRALIGHT Shine-Free Mineral Complex SPF 15 (my partner's ride or die), EXTRA CARE Non-Greasy Sunscreen SPF 15, etc. It's simple, lightweight, non-greasy, super gentle, replenishing and just feels great overall! Provides my skin with enough moisture without the dreaded extra greasiness some other products can have. Might give a mild white cast at first, but nothing some blending can't take care of. Absolutely recommended, if you've been eyeing it give this one a chance... most likely you'll be pleasantly surprised! :)

Great product

5

I use this during the summer and the normal-dry version in the winter. I'm very happy with both formulations, no irritation and goes on well over serums. HAven't noticed any white cast, though I have pale skin. I sometimes use a Revlon cream-to-powder foundation over the top and although I have to be careful not to fuss with it too much or it streaks I think that is the fault of the foundation and not this product.

I'm picky and I recommend for sensitive skin

5

I don't have red skin or rosacea, but I do have very sensitive skin, including facial eczema in response to some make-up and eye creams. I've been using the product almost daily for three weeks. This is the ONLY sunscreen, mineral or chemical, that I've used that hasn't given me those irritation bumps around my chin and under my nose or caused breakouts. I have tried cetaphil, cerave, vanicream, almay, neutrogena, laroche-posay, and arcona to name a few. I use it as a sunscreen over my moisturizer. The initial application feels silky and moisturizing. As the day goes on I can see how some might find it slightly drying, but with my underlying moisturizer I don't have a problem with that - it does say normal-to-oily on the bottle. When I'm out I am going to try the normal-to-dry version. I am white, with olive undertones and I don't find this gives me a ghostly cast like other mineral sunscreens. I'm super picky and I highly recommend you try if you have sensitive skin.

New formulation = Amazing!

5

I have been using this moisturizer for approximately 6 months and agreed with past reviews that while this didn't cause a break-out, it did go on quite greasy and took a while to absorb into the skin. I believe PC released a new formulation, as my most recent order which arrived a few days ago (8/2) goes on much more matte, has a slightly different scent (i think they eliminated cucumber as an ingredient) and absorbs much faster into my skin. I reallyyyyyyy love this product! Even though it went on greasy before, I never broke out with it so I continued to purchase. This will continue to be a staple in my skincare regimen. I also use several other PC products including: CLEAR 2% BHA, Moisture Boost hydrating treatment cream and CLEAR spot treatment BHA. My skin has gotten so much more manageable after I started with PC products. Can't recommend enough!

Protects eyelids from sun damage without stinging!

5

I have been using this wonderful product daily for several months without the usual reactions I had from other brands. The most unique aspect is no stinging when applied to eyelids to protect the delicate skin tissue from sun damage.

Best Sunscreen from Paula's Choice

5

Although my skin is more on the normal to dry side than normal to oily, this is my favorite sunscreen to use from PC. It's hydrating enough without being greasy. It gives my skin more of a glow than a shine, and it doesn't clog my pores or contribute to my acne. I wish I'd been using this one all along. It feels so smooth going on and makes my skin look brighter and healthier immediately after application.

Best Mineral Sunscreen Available

5

I wanted to use only mineral based sunscreens. The top brands from the drugstore left my face very greasy and uncomfortable. This sunscreen goes on beautifully and never irritates my skin or eyes. My husband and I both use it and we are hard to please. Paula's Choice products are the best, I have been using them for over 20 years. Cheers to the team and everyone who leaves a review.

Best Moisturizer I've Ever Found

5

I live in the state with the highest rate of skin cancer relative to population, and I'm very active outside, so I desperately need SPF protection. The problem has always been that sunscreens mix with sweat and sting my eyes. This is unavoidable if you have an active lifestyle, and it can actually be very dangerous. I have literally almost died twice because, at a critical moment, my sunscreen got into my eyes and effectively blinded me. The first time I was hiking and heard the rattlesnakes warn me about encroaching into their territory, but when I started to look around, my eyes began to sting so intensely that I had to close them. I panicked and almost stepped on a mama rattler who was determined to guard her babies. The other incident occurred while I was rock climbing - you can imagine the rest of that story. The point is this: I have never found a moisturizer with SPF that doesn't smell awful and that doesn't burn my eyes while I'm using it outside under conditions that are sometimes perilous. It amazes me that companies don't consider this practical aspect of SPF product when developing and marketing their products because the problem exists on a lesser scale for everyone: playing tennis or other sports outside, for example, definitely requires using SPF, but if you can't see, you'll probably lose. I don't know why or how this SPF moisturizer is different with respect to ingredients or formulation, but it just doesn't irritate my eyes like other products do - even PC products: I used to used the PC4 Men SPF moisturizer, but it too caused my eyes to water and burn. I am so happy with this moisturizer that I switched all my products to the Calm collection. I've had very good results.

Best Sunscreen in Paula Choice!

5

I have sensitive skin, my skin can become oily at the end of the day. Had tried both Skin Recovery and Hydralight shine free range sunscreen from Paula Choice. But by far, CALM SPF 15 Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin is the best sunscreen for daily use. It is non greasy and not shinny, most of all, it doesn't irritate my skin! It is also really easy to rub in, is suitable to use under daily make up (no balling like other sunscreens I had tried from the chemist). Please don't discontinue this product and keep up the good work!
