NEW HOLY GRAIL SPF!

5

Beautifully formulated product, this has become by far my favorite moisturizer with SPF for oily skin from the PC's range after trying several other options such as: RESIST Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30, RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 15, HYDRALIGHT Shine-Free Mineral Complex SPF 15 (my partner's ride or die), EXTRA CARE Non-Greasy Sunscreen SPF 15, etc. It's simple, lightweight, non-greasy, super gentle, replenishing and just feels great overall! Provides my skin with enough moisture without the dreaded extra greasiness some other products can have. Might give a mild white cast at first, but nothing some blending can't take care of. Absolutely recommended, if you've been eyeing it give this one a chance... most likely you'll be pleasantly surprised! :)

Great product

I use this during the summer and the normal-dry version in the winter. I'm very happy with both formulations, no irritation and goes on well over serums. HAven't noticed any white cast, though I have pale skin. I sometimes use a Revlon cream-to-powder foundation over the top and although I have to be careful not to fuss with it too much or it streaks I think that is the fault of the foundation and not this product.

Best Sunscreen in Paula Choice!

5

I have sensitive skin, my skin can become oily at the end of the day. Had tried both Skin Recovery and Hydralight shine free range sunscreen from Paula Choice. But by far, CALM SPF 15 Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin is the best sunscreen for daily use. It is non greasy and not shinny, most of all, it doesn't irritate my skin! It is also really easy to rub in, is suitable to use under daily make up (no balling like other sunscreens I had tried from the chemist). Please don't discontinue this product and keep up the good work!

Great daily moisturiser!

I love this moisturiser, it is lightweight and non-greasy but it doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry. I do sometimes put the non-SPF Calm moisturiser underneath for added moisture.

Pretty Good Moisturiser for Normal Combination Skin

4

I really like this moisturiser. I dont have oily skin and my skin doesnt need a Calming Product as such. I purchased after consultation with a Paulas Choice Staff Member. I have Normal to Dry with a very Slight oily t zone. It does appear white once applied but absorbs into my skin quite quickly. I apply a BB Cream over the top (My reason for not Buying the Normal to Dry Cream). Sun Protection appears to be very Good. I use the Normal to Dry Moistuirser without spf for My Night Cream from the Calm Range.. that is excellent as well!

Unusually light and non-greasy for a Zinc SPF

4

This is the same as the discontinued Hydralight SPF 15 (although it's classed as SPF 30 in the U.S etc) It's Summer here now and I live in subtropical climate. My gripe is that I sweat it out.. and it's not versatile with different kinds of makeup..it's perfectly fine if you wear powder/mineral makeup but doesn't look great under certain liquid makeup. It's aeons above the other Zinc SPF's I find in the Chemist/ Supermarket for my face.. and arrives within a week for not much $.. given it's something you want to wear regularly compared to more expensive brands where the bottle is also a little small/smaller but at very least double the price and might take up to a month to arrive + more pricey shipping costs. I don't remember having the same problems with the Resist Super Light Wrinkle Defence spf.. I think that's more for me and will see if I can wear chemical spf's again. In Winter I have to wear Moisturiser under this otherwise my skin dries out, the only place I don't particularly need to is my nose but I have combination skin. At night time I've actually applied this or left it on when I had a breakout because I had nothing else and it seems to calm it because it's zinc.. not first choice probably but it's great when I've got a breakout and if it's some form of irritation I'll wear moisturiser and then this.

No good under makeup

I was a very satisfied daily user of Skin Balancing SPF 15, but thought that I would try the Calm formulation to see if it worked better with my rosacea. For me, this product doesn't work well with makeup. After a couple of hours, my entire t-zone is an oily disaster with makeup slipping off my forehead, nose and chin, and with the appearance of sinking into some of my larger pores. It worked better in combination with Shine Stopper, however I prefer not to use this on a daily basis. Its just too fussy. Overall, it was no better for my rosacea but way worse for my overall daily look. I'll be going back to Skin Balancing SPF, which is a product that works fantastically well for me.

Runny and gives you a white face

I've used Moisture boost hydrating treatment before which was GREAT. Unfortunately, Moisture boos is discontinued and I got Calm redness relief (SPF 15) as a replacement for Moisture boost as per Paula's Choice advice (http://www.paulaschoice.co.uk/moisture-boost-hydrating-treatment-cream.html). Calm redness relief SPF 15 is so runny and give you a white face. It is far different from Moisture boost. Feels very oily and doesn't absorb quickly. I have to buy another moisturiser.
