Great way to freshen up during the day

5

I wear a light tinted BB cream with sunscreen so not a lot of make-up to remove. These are great for freshening up at work in the middle of the day, especially in the Australian summer. My skin looks fresher and cleaner. I lightly moisturise after and then put the BB cream back on. Perfect!

Lovely wipes

5

I have used nutrogena face wipes at night for many years as make up removers before washing my face. They're fine but these ones are nicer. I wish they were a little bigger but they're alright the way they are. These are softer than the nutrogena wipes and don't feel as 'raspy'. They have been effective at makeup removal. I don't wear a lot of makeup but I do still need to remove the basics. These don't leave as much residue as the nutrogena ones do, which might be important if you didn't want to wash your face afterwards. These feel gentler and generally more pleasant to use and, as I love Paula's Choice and trust the products for my skin, I think I'll stick with these.

A great (albeit expensive) shortcut

These are great! So easy on nights when I'm tempted to skip my skincare routine. Effective make up removal takes time and a lot of rubbing with these wipes to get rid of it all, even when the makeup I use isn't waterproof. I have never tried any other brand of cleansing wipes to compare these ones with (but I'm such a Paula groupie that I wouldn't be caught dead using anything but her products or others that she rates highly.) I have sensitive skin, and despite the rubbing, the wipes don't irritate at all. I agree with the reviewer who said that Paula doesn't recommend anything that is "pulling" on the skin, so using these just feels a bit wrong for that reason. My comparison point is other Paula cleansers: I have used the resist hydrating cleanser for years, and more recently, the cleansing oil - these products are both very effective for me, the oil especially so for makeup removal. The wipes work out to be dramatically more expensive that these other cleanser options, so I'll save them for nights when I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered splashing water around. But I seem to be feeling lazier and lazier the more I use the wipes lol. Four stars from me, simply because 1. It feels wrong that I need to scrub so much to get rid of all the makeup, after listening intently to Paula's skincare principles for over 15 years now, and 2. they work out to be way more expensive per application than the other cleansers I use.

I Don't Like Them

1

There are two main reasons for the negative review. Firstly, the packaging doesn't have a proper lid that clicks into place. Secondly, while the wipes are very soft, they are also very dry.
