Newer research has shown that coriander leaf extract has restorative benefit, which is likely due to coriander leaf being a rich source of linolenic acid. It also appears coriander offers antioxidant benefit, at least when consumed orally. Last, components in coriander oil have skin-soothing benefits, but that doesn't mean its fragrance components aren't cause for concern.
