Additional Information

Why is it different?
Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges allow you to easily blend and expertly apply your makeup. Unlike other makeup sponges, you don't have to worry about Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges being too porous and soaking up all your makeup (especially liquid foundations). The sponges have been designed to be durable enough to wash and re-use time after time. Use them wet or dry to apply liquid, cream-to-powder or pressed powder foundations or to soften or blend away obvious makeup lines including the edges of blush and eyeshadows. One package includes 10 reusable, circular sponges.

Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges do not contain rubber or animal-derived components. They are latex-free.

How to use
Utilising the flat, smooth surface of the sponge, pour some foundation onto the sponge, then transfer the foundation in dots and dabs all over the face and the eyelids. Blend the foundation downward and out over the face. Use the edge of the sponge without foundation (or turn the sponge over to the clean side) to dab or buff away any excess product.

Your sponge is an exceptional blending tool that can be utilised throughout the makeup application process to apply concealer, soften hard edges of blush, etc.

Wash your sponge each week in warm water using a mild liquid soap or your facial cleanser.

Ratings & Reviews

Never given a Paula's choice product one star before.

I really wanted to like these. I tried these damp, dry, cut in half everything, such a shame! I've been using beauty blenders for years and they have been great but this is just too flat. It doesn't spread my foundation very well and doesn't make my foundation sink in. Glad I bought these on sale but yeah disappointed. Just going to give these to friends instead of giving them my spare beauty blenders (which they lose!) Good luck to em :D

OK...but too thick

3

The size of these sponges and the texture are OK, but for me, not fantastic. I think my issue with the texture may be because I have extremely dry skin. Also, the sponges are a little too thick which makes them not flexible enough for easy applications. Sorry, this is a very difficult issue to explain! However, they *are* very durable. My set has literally lasted for several years now.

Good idea.....

I followed Jenny's tip with cutting the round makeup sponges into quarters. This made it a little difficult to apply some of my makeup (and I have small hands as it is, so I think I'm just going to cut them in half with the next batch to see if these do the trick. Jenny, thanks for the advice....

Best non-latex, BUT...

3

These are the best non-latex sponges I've ever used. I do think they're a little too big, smaller size would make them easier to control. BUT...they do have the same problem as all non-latex sponges, feels like you're applying foundation with a plastic or rubber sheet! Don't use them wet, makes it even worse! I understand lots of people are allergic to latex, so this is a great product for them. Paula - PLEASE make latex sponges too, for those of us who don't have an allergy. Nothing can compare to the way latex sponges smooth foundation onto the skin, and latex works great slightly dampened too.

Indispensable

No more finger painting my makeup onto my face in the morning. Perfect for applying, blending, and softening edges. I've always cut them in fourths, but not just because I'm cheap! The angled edges get right into those awkward areas like on and around my nose. I've been buying these since Paula began carrying them. A makeup necessity!

Love these!

I bought these on a whim and now I will never be without them! They truly make makeup application more even and make my complexion look flawless. Why didn't I try these earlier?

Best Sponges

5

These are my favorite sponges of all time. I always stock up. They never crumble or fall apart and they are great for spreading foundation evenly without wasting half the product. One of my must-have items from this website.

Perfect Sponges

I love these sponges-very soft, yet firm enough to blend makeup perfectly. I even use them around the eye area to blend shadows and never experience irritation.

Unsatisfied Customer

1

These sponges are horrible. I use the sponges to apply my foundation and they leave little particles behind, it's so annoying. I didn't want to go through the hassle in returning them so I just tossed them out... what a waist.

Must Have These Always

5

These are the best makeup sponges I've used. They don't come apart while I'm trying to use them, and they're thick so the liquid foundation doesn't bleed through to the other side. Non-latex. When I run out, I start to panic.
