Great for mature, dry skin.

I get this moisturiser for my 82 year old mother. She loves it! She has Alzheimers so we have cut back on any complicated routines, but at night she cleanses with Paula's choice and moisturises with this. Hard to tell if it makes a difference on her skin, but she thinks it does and she loves the way it makes her skin feel.

Very effective for a low concentration product

I was just using this as an intro to acclimatize my skin to retinol before moving to a higher-strength product, but for a 23y.o. male with moderate sun damage but otherwise very healthy skin, I have already seen significant improvements in my skin health after only 3 days of use. It simply looks younger, and sun damage is less apparent. I am very surprised. You will likely have some redness, but for me it was only on one night after the 3 days application, and the next morning my skin looked better than ever. In my opinion you want to use this for a few days on and then a few days or a week+ off, as I believe retinol works on a 'hormetic' mechanism - think, the way muscle training relies on breaking down your muscle cells, so that they grow back better and in greater numbers, and I believe the redness one can get from retinol is evidence that it functions in a similar way, hence why you should be giving your skin a break after a few days of use.

My favourite moisturiser.

I feel like I've almost tried every moisturiser in the world in my search for the "right" one. Then I tried this, and hallelujah, I've found the holy grail (for me, anyway). It's super moisturising without feeling heavy or greasy, and unlike moisturisers that are basically just good emollient formulations this one contains lots of other goodies. I've also always been on the lookout for a decent eye cream. I'm really picky about them, but this moisturiser ticks all the boxes for me. One pump mixed with a serum is also enough to bring the product down over the décolletage. I do wish that a container of this would last longer though. I could try using less, but... no.

My favourite product so far

I use quite a few Paula's Choice products and this is probably my favourite. It keeps my skin beautifully hydrated all day - skin is still as moist at the end of the day as it is when it is first applied. Sometimes I use it with resist super anitioxidant serum and sometimes I add two drops of resist 10% Nicinamide booster. I will never buy another moisturiser again as I have found the best.

Comfort cream!

I use this moisturiser every night, often on its own when I don't have time for a full routine. It feels great on; perfect for my fair complexion dry/sensitive skin, its calming and non oily. Skin feels lovely the next morning.

Is moisturizing

I have oily skin so maybe this isn't the product for me. I got this as a sample and applied it under my eyes. It did moisturize around my eyes but that was about it. I don't really have any wrinkles around my eyes as I am twenty-four, so maybe you need to have wrinkles to see a difference. This formula felt a bit heavy for me. If you have dry skin maybe give it a go.

Covers all bases

The thing that sold me on this cream was the list of active ingredients, it is a really good cream for aging skin and has a bit of everything you really want in it, especially the retinol. I love that Paula's Choice products are honest products and they're giving you the real deal, no gimmicks and make-believe miracle workers, they are already clinically proven ingredients used by professionals in the trade. This cream can be irritating if you get too close to the eyelids so be careful with it there, also using it after retinol, or the AHA or BHA it can sting a bit, I have had some peeling in the past, from combining, but it was good peeling that healed evenly with an improvement in the skin tone after. Smooths skin, minimises pore and fine lines.

The best moisturiser ever

I love this stuff - I've gone through soooo many bottles of it over the years. I've got combo skin that can have breakouts and a few fine lines and wrinkles. It is just beautiful, I wish they'd come out with a daytime version with spf.

Favourite night cream

Great at night for dry, flaky skin - very moisturising. I tend to mix in more retinol as well, and wake up glowing. Haven't found any moisturiser I've liked as much in the last ten years.
