Additional Information

Why is it different?
SKIN BALANCING Ultra-Sheer Daily Defense SPF 15 feels wonderfully light, but its broad-spectrum, oil-absorbing formula gives skin a nourishing supply of antioxidants to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and uneven skin tone and to smooth away dryness for younger-looking skin! It is the perfect option to help prevent premature ageing of skin.
What does it do?
Provides trusted protection from the ageing rays of the sun while offering weightless, healthy hydration and a matte finish that helps keep excess shine in check. Meanwhile, an exclusive blend of skin-restoring ingredients and research-proven antioxidants work to help prevent the appearance of signs of ageing.
How to use
Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you will need to reapply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight. If you plan to swim or perspire you must apply a water-resistant sunscreen.

Great but not matte

Great but my face is shiny after this.

Fantastic Moisturiser with SPF, Really an Oil-Free Moistuser

Daily usage of the oil-free moisturiser Doesnt make my face oily even after 12 hours, really lived up to its Oil-free factor Slight smell of sunscreen

Stings around the eye area

The texture is great, easy to apply and rub in, feels more hydrating than the Resist Youth Extending Daily Fluid. Unfortunately it stings around the eye area and under one eye has started peeling. I will keep in my handbag as a sunscreen for my hands.

This thing is amazing! The liquid consistency spreads well across the face, so you don't need that much product each time. It absorbs almost immediately and leaves a "glowy"matte finish which is fantastic for my oily skin. It actually helps to reduce shine on my face all day.. whaaaat!? I'd have given it 5 stars if it came in a pump container as it'd help with the dispensing. I can see how some others may accidentally pour more than they need to with the current packaging.

It's good, but...

It's a great sunscreen, however so confused as to why the US store stocks SPF 30 and the Australian store only has SPF 15? Surely the country with the huge history of skin cancer would need the higher SPF? Disappointing that I have to shop else where to get the 30+ SPF that I need...

Advice to Eliminate Eye Stinging

This is an excellent product. It feels like I have no sunscreen on at all. My skin stays shine-free all day without any use of powder. The new SPF 30 did initially cause stinging around my eyes. However, I now apply moisturizer around my eyes first. I wait about 15 minutes for the moisturizer to absorb into my eye skin, and then I apply the sunscreen. This procedure has completely eliminated any stinging around my eyes when I apply the sunscreen! This sunscreen is now the perfect product for me!

Broke out skin

I thought this sunscreen would work well for my combo skin. My skin kept stinging and breaking out and I could not figure out what it was until I applied it and wore no makeup or any other product on my face and whalla my face started stinging so I found my culprit. I guess I will send back and try some samples of other sunscreens.

Not Matte for Me..

Unfortunately, I've in the last year developed combo skin so tried this cream out but it didn't me stay matte at forehead is always shiny a few hours later..which I'm a little disappointed will be switching back to the moisture booster spf lotion..I so wish I loved this one...

Stings my skin

I have been using the hydralight products and out of curiosity I thought I'd give some samples of this line a try. The skin balancing ultra sheer daily defence SPF30 has a runny consistency and goes in easy. It would be great for oily skin that is not sensitive to any products. However this made my skin burn which lasted for more than 5 mins after applying. I will be sticking to the hydralight daily moisturiser or trying the resist option.

Good SPF for oily skin

It took a while for me to get the hang of using this product. I've found that it has to set completely before applying makeup, else the makeup adheres to the product and breaks down as it sets to a powder finish. On dry skin days, I use a serum to supplement it. The SPF is effective, and the balancing part of this formula helps keep it on an oily face. Just don't get it near the eyes or lashes: it burns like heck.
