Why is it different?
SKIN PERFECTING 8% AHA Lotion is a lightweight, moisturising AHA exfoliant that combines 8% glycolic acid with a customised mix of calming, anti-ageing antioxidants and nourishing plant oils that soothe, smooth, and dramatically soften dry skin showing multiple signs of ageing.

This exfoliant has an optimal pH range of 3.5–3.9.

What does it do?
Exfoliates built-up dead skin cells to reveal the fresher, smoother, younger-looking skin beneath. Its hydrating formula helps preserve skin's moisture balance as it brightens a dull, uneven complexion. Research-proven glycolic acid is joined with antioxidants and a complex of smoothing plant extracts to noticeably reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while leaving skin looking firmer and radiant.
How to use

Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. Apply over the entire face, avoiding direct contact with eyes and lips. Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 15 or greater.

Sun Protection Advice When Using Any AHA Exfoliant: This product contains 8% glycolic acid, an ingredient that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 15 or greater every day. When outdoors, wear protective clothing whenever possible, seek shade, and avoid prolonged sun exposure.

Effective, Value for Money

I am 36, I have dry skin with slight redness around the T-zone and, increasingly, small wrinkles/laugh-lines around my eyes and on my forehead. I brought this product along with the Skin Recovery Daily Moisturising Lotion + spf just before heading overseas for a stint of work to a country with much harder water than Australia—and less strong sunshine! I've been using it for near to 4 months now, once a day in the morning, and I'd say there's still at least a third of the bottle remaining (going off weight)—a little goes a long way. I'm really happy with how it performed. The redness has decreased, and so (I think) have the fine lines on my forehead. The only note of caution I'd add is not to put it on right before sweaty exercise: once or twice I've headed off to a morning spin class not long after applying it, and have noticed irritation then—nothing drastic, but a bit of a sting. Otherwise, despite having quite sensitive skin, I haven't regretted buying this and will likely reorder.

I'm obsessed

My skin is super sensitive and has always reacted badly to AHAs, so I was very wary trying this. I did have a little bit of redness on the first night I tried it, but persisted and am so glad I did. This has without doubt given me the best skin of my life. Applies like a light moisturiser and causes me no irritation at all. My skin is clearer, more even toned and smoother than it ever has been (I'm 43) and makeup goes on like a dream. Please don't ever stop making this.

Amazing results

I use this product twice daily and have noticed i no longer get blackheads which was my concern . No irritation. Light on skin .

Great product

I apply this each night before bed. I apply a full pump over my face, as if it were a moisturizer. I noticed improvement within days. After using it for about a month I bought the retinol 1% and use that most mornings. I don't use any other products at all and my ski is looking great, moisturized, clear and makeup goes on well.
