After shampooing, apply conditioner, focusing on the dry parts of your scalp and hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes, then rinse well. For dry, coarse hair that needs deeper conditioning, leave on hair for as long as possible. May be used as a leave-in conditioner.

The conditioner is wonderfully thick and hydrating—no complaints there. But the bottle is made so the cap can't be removed, which means when I'm toward the end of the bottle I can't scrape out the remaining conditioner. That's frustrating, but what's even worse is that if I accidentally portion out too much, I can't put the excess back in the bottle! What a waste. I LOVED when Paula offered pumps to go with her shampoo and conditioner (way back when they came in bottles with removable lids). I tried to use my old pump with the new container, but it's the wrong shape. What a waste of plastic AND product! Very disappointing.
For my dry, fine, curly hair this is a god-send. It does a fabulous job without weighing down my hair one bit. I keep trying other shampoos and conditioners and they are good, but Paula's are better and less expensive. My hair looks its best when I just shampoo and condition with these, then let it air dry naturally with no other products at all. My curls aren't weighed down and can bounce softly. No other shampoo and conditioner leave my hair quite that nice.
Meh. Didn't do more than any drugstore brand. To be honest I've tried better. Left my hair flat and lifeless. Will not buy again!
I have coarse but straight hair that is generally resistant to getting oily for at least 5 days (PSA: daily shampooing is not necessarily for healthy hair!!). I have to agree with previous reviewers that this conditioner feels heavy on the hair after use. Also as previously mentioned (but now the review has been deleted?), it goes a little too overboard with the silicone. Of course when you initially wash and condition your hair, it feels super smooth and flowy, but I find the conditioner effects start to weigh my hair done and makes it much more prone to greasiness than other conditioners I use. I've tested this back and forth with other conditioners and I prefer the less-silicone heavy ones, but I can see how this PC conditioner would benefit someone with very fizzy or unruly hair, and are daily shampooers. Also, please fix the packaging! The cap is very flimsy. Given the thick consistency of the product, PC should really design a bottle that sits upside down on its *stable* lid.
Love the shampoo and conditioner but really, the packaging bottle needs redesign big time. If the bottle accidentally falls, lid cracks or breaks or comes apart and there is spill, etc plus is not stable to stand when in confined space. PLEASE REDESIGN! If it wasn't for the packaging fault, i would give it a 5 star!
I live in the high desert and this product I use (small amount) as a leave in conditioner for my thick, curly hair. This is the best product I have used and I have used several high end - kerastase, purology and other samples. None work as good as this product and it really does only take a small amount. Always have this product Paula!

I ordered this as the product has good reviews and I swear by PC skin care products so buying hair products from the same source was very convenient. (I bought the PC shampoo to use also) However this conditioner did not work at all for me. I have naturally thick and fairly dry hair that is also colour treated but I keep it fairly well maintained and it's in nice condition. I wanted to try the hair products as I have a sensitive scalp and the information about the product reasoned that people with thick/dry hair can leave it on for longer or even use it as a leave-in conditioner. When I first used the PC products I used them as a normal shampoo and conditioner, leaving the conditioner in for a prolonged 5 or so minutes. After washing them out my hair became almost impossible to run a brush through - it felt clean but completely un-conditioned like the conditioner had just washed straight out of my hair without making any difference. The 2nd time I used the conditioner as a leave-in - this left my hair feeling like a strange mixture of dry and greasy, and like I had left product in that needed to be washed out. I still struggled to comb through my hair. The 3rd and final time I used the shampoo and conditioner as normal and used a leave-in conditioner that I have previously used and had great results from afterwards. My hair felt clean but I still had the problem of not being able to comb through my hair and my ends just looked dry and un-conditioned. All-in-all I tried and failed to make these products work for me but my hair became very un-manageable and unfortunately I will not be buying them again. I believe the shampoo and conditioner could be good for helping to clear up sensitive scalps after prolongued usage as I have experienced no irritation to my scalp or skin when using them.
I love this conditioner. I have a very sensitive scalp, so I have to be careful what I use. This conditioner is perfect, smoothing my hair and leaving it soft and manageable. It's great in every way - except for the bottle. It's difficult to get the last bit of product out and the rounded lid means you can't turn it upside down as the product runs out. The packaging also looks terribly dated compared to my other PC products. Love the product Paula and team, but please update the awful packaging!
I use Paula s skin care products(advanced routine), and I am very much satisfied, so without a second thought I bought paulas conditioner, I m so dissapointed, it made my hair dull, and lifeless, and my hair is not looking fuller(earlier before using Paula conditioner it used to be), and my hair fall has too much increased, so I stoped using it, It eases out frizz, I WASTED my MONEY,
