RESIST Perfectly Balanced Foaming Cleanser is an advanced anti-ageing, pore-reducing cleanser specially formulated to gently remove excess oil and makeup without disturbing skin’s protective barrier.

This pearlescent foam gently removes all traces of makeup, sunscreen and excess oil while visibly improving the look of pores and redness. Replenishing hyaluronic acid and ceramides draw moisture into skin for a soft, hydrated complexion that’s perfectly prepped for the rest of your routine.

The bottle for this full-sized product is made from 96% recycled material (excluding cap and orifice reducer).
How To Use

Wet face and apply a small amount of cleanser (1-2 pumps) to your face and eye area with vigorous, yet gentle, circular motions. Rinse well. To remove heavy makeup, repeat or use with a clean, wet washcloth.

    Ruined my skin in 3 weeks

    My skin was just oily with the occasional break out, and I have been looking for a good face wash to help with pore congestion and oily-ness. This facewash initially helped but then ruined my skin. Heaps of whiteheads and blocked pores around my hair line and nose. Skin even LOOKS older. Was expecting good things based on other reviews but I have been completely let down.

    Too harsh

    Got the mini as a free gift with other products and thought I'd give it a go, it would be a good cleanser but it broke me out horribly. I know it's the cleanser because I stopped using it and switched back to my usual cleanser (balense) and stopped breaking out.

    Skin barrier feels compromised after use

    This is the first Paula's Choice product I've tried that I haven't liked/benefited my skin. After a full 2 weeks of using it both day and night, my skin's barrier feels compromised, dried out and irritated. It's also irritated my eyes so much I haven't been able to wear mascara due to my eyes constantly stinging and watering. I usually stay away from foaming products so it would be what causes it to foam that has irritated my skin so much

    Gave me acne

    Received this cleanser for my Birthday and wish I had never used this product. Previously I had been using the Clear Cleanser which worked great and without fault, but when I started using this product, my chin started breaking out terribly. Photo below shows the 'healing' phase after not using it for a month - it was much worse than this. I've had to buy even more products to fix what this product was intended to do. I'm worried that this will now scar my skin and leave discolouration.

    I should've stopped using this product at the onset, but I had thought hormones, stress, plus have been using other products from PC that had worked, so why not this cleanser? Default to truth, unfortunately. So take this as a warning - do NOT use.

    I love this cleanser

    I use this product every morning and night on my 58 year old Asian skin. since I found this in 2020, I've occasionally tried other cleansers, but I keep coming back to this one. I have always had ingrown hairs on on arms and legs. This cleanser has changed that, without the need to scrub the skin hard.

    I would lather up my face in the shower. Any excess I'd wipe down my arms and torso. Sometimes I'd wipe the excess on my outer thighs. Then I realised the ingrown hairs had disappears where I'd smoothed this cleanser. In grown hairs I've had since my early teen years. Nothing made that go away. I didn't know it was possible to make it go away. Plus the skin was so soft and smooth in the areas that this cleanser was applied.

    To test, I started swiping a bit extra down one leg only. Sure enough, the ingrown hairs disappeared on that leg and the skin became so soft and smooth to touch.

    Now I use this cleanser on my whole body. A little bit goes a very long way. It is the best cleanser I've ever tried. I am so pleased with it.
