SHINE STOPPER Instant Matte Finish has an oil-absorbing formula that works quickly to keep oily skin shine-free. Its unique MICROSPONGE® Technology works invisibly to keep oily shine in check while minimising the appearance of pores.
The weightless formula dries to a soft, powder-like finish that smooths out skin imperfections. Can be worn alone or under makeup to help it stay in place all day long. Dab a tiny bit on during the day to maintain results.

The bottle for this full-sized product is made from 96% recycled material (excluding cap and orifice reducer).
How To Use

Dispense a pea-sized amount and using clean fingers or a foundation sponge, dab (do not rub) lightly over oily areas as the last step of your skincare routine or over your foundation. If you wish to apply powder or blush over SHINE STOPPER, let SHINE STOPPER set completely first. Reapply as needed.

    Works Very Well

    It's works very well and definitely does a great job of reducing shine, although I can't see much difference for pores. Perhaps the effect would be maximised if I utilise a proper loose powder application with a brush instead of relying on a dinky sponge... Something to consider. Eitherway, Paula's Choice's Shinestopper is definitely worth your money. If you're looking for a quality matte primer that wouldn't incentise your sensitive skin.

    disappointing

    Honestly just doesn't do anything. makes make up look casket and textured. often pills. I wrote another review and it was never published..... disappointed with this as usually love PC products.

    Doesn't keep shine away

    Was hoping this would be the primer for me.some thing that kept shine away throughout most of the day… it doesn't. In fact I did a side by side and the side with the primer appeared more oily by the end of the day. Disappointed usually love PC products.

    Oil CONTROL!

    I have really oily skin and it takes alot of products to keep in under control.

    I thought I'd try this and see how it went and it does exactly what it says it does!.

    I had next to no oil on my face all day, would be great for anyone with extremely oily skin or under make-up.

    Really enjoy this product

    I get quite an oily T zone and jaw line. As I get older I really don't want to be wearing heaving matte foundations but so many of the lighter foundations turn into an oily mess on my face (and not the good glowey looking mess)

    This primer really helps with that and gives me a few extra hours before my foundation starts lifting super easily so enough to get me to the end of the day. While it's mattifying and a tad moisture sucking, it's not extreme, so as long as I use a finishing spray, my foundation and powder doesn't get a heavy matte look.

    It's very similar to the cult Becca mattifying primer but toned down a tad and without all the downsides. its much much thinner so doesn't pill under makeup and is way easier to get out of the tube.

    My two tips. Make sure you shake it, it can separate a little and pat it on, don't rub.
