Ratings & Reviews

Absolutely one of Paula's best products

I have been a customer for almost 20 years, and never gotten around to reviewing products. This serum is by far one of the best. It's packed with antioxidants, and it's not too heavy, but still moisturizing. I have combo/oily skin, and in summer, it is the only night time moisturizer I need. I use it around my eyes. I'm over 40, but people think I look in my 30s. I credit sunscreen and daily use of this serum since it first came out.

Best Serum for any skin type

5

I never write comments on products but I had to for this serum. It literally transformed my dry skin overnight. I could actually feel how soft and hydrated my skin was in just a day. I've never had that occur with a product before. I use it twice a day and it has never broken me out. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin.

Light texture

I can't say if this product has made a difference to my skin However, I enjoy the light texture of this serum. I can use it morning or night, and it layers perfectly under other skincare. I have used it after strong acid toners and it never irritated my skin.

A regular purchase for me

5

This lightweight serum is a must-have for my oily-combination-sensitive skin. The other serums are too heavy and greasy for me, but this one is lovely and chalk-full of antioxidants and other beneficial ingredients. It's also a great option for those sensitive to retinol, since this product contains none, whereas most of the other PC serums do. I use it under my PC mineral sunscreen and love the thought that it may be giving me even more protection from the sun, due to the antioxidant content. This has been a regular purchase for me for several years now.

Saying this is expensive is very unfair

This serum is not bad, actually I don't mind it. It works in long run. Can't believe people say this is expensive. Are you guys joking? I have paid over $100 for 1 ounce/ 1/2 serum which I liked, so I don't think PC products are expensive. In fact, I think PC products are reasonably priced specially the 1% retinol and vitamin C serum. My skin care routine costs about $300 per 3 months. Not bad eh? I mean look at other companies, all fragrances, false advertisements, low quality ingredients, jar packages and they don't even wanna tell you how much of an ingredient is in a product. I contacted a few companies for the concentration of retinol, vitamin c, AHA and BHA in some of their products and guess what? they told me they can't disclose the concentration of ingredients. why not? what is so secret about it? So I told them it's their loss, I'm buying elsewhere. In the end, I spend my money on companies who are transparent and respect my money. Good Luck

Instant Results. For real.

I got this product as a sample. I was worried about using it because awhile ago this same product had a jelly-like texture that was hard to spread. The new formulation is great. It makes your skin less red INSTANTLY. It's lightweight and non-greasy and can easily be added to your moisturizer.

Will continue to buy this product!

Feels great on the skin. Not greasy at all, and it seems like this product will last a while. I've had it for a few months and it seems I've hardly used any at all.

Awesome; lovely; wonderful

I first tried the Skin Balancing version for a month; then tried this one for a month. I loved them both; neither caused any problems for me (I break out and have somewhat sensitive skin). I was having a difficult time deciding between the two, so I put one on one side of my face and one on the other side. After about 5 minutes I checked the results. One difference was immediately apparent. My under-eye area looked SO MUCH BETTER on the side that I'd used this product on. From that day on I've used this Resist Antioxidant Serum under my eyes and on my lids. My wrinkles just disappeared with this applied, and over time, they seem to be disappearing permanently. My imagination? I don't know, but it's been a year, and I swear my skin looks younger than it did a year ago, especially that under-eye area that had made me think of the children's book, "The Saggy, Baggy Elephant". I now look better. I am happy. But I also noticed that the Skin Balancing version was slightly more matt, and for me that's was a good thing, so I use it on the rest of my face. Some people may love the extra moisture this product supplies, but I don't need it, except around my eyes. Great Product!!!

Absolute must!

I started using this serum as part of the whole Resist kit. I like the texture and the little tub lasts forever. When applied, it feels lightweight on the skin and it also works well under makeup. My skin feels balanced and bright. The daily dose of antioxidants is much appreciated too, of course! Although I do not have any fine lines yet, I do feel this step on my skincare regime has contributed to keeping a youthful look.

My favorite serum hands down

5

This is a serum that I'll always come back to between trying new ones. I apply after toner and an exfoliant, if I'm using one that day. The texture is very lightweight and soaks into my skin right away while being lightly moisturizing. I don't notice drastic differences in skin tone, but I know the antioxidants are doing their job in conjunction with my other products. I love that it doesn't have a high percentage of any ingredients that make my skin burn when it's sensitized. To me, it smells kind of like brown sugar but none of my friends smell that too.
