Additional Information

Why is it different?
RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 15 perfectly couples a water-light texture with proven broad-spectrum sun protection, but this advanced formula goes further by including key antioxidants that research has shown skin needs to look younger and more even toned, and to feel firmer.

What does it do?
Provides effective UVA/UVB protection plus hydration for a healthier, younger-looking complexion. Its satin-matte finish leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated, never slick or greasy. It is a daytime anti-ageing moisturiser those with oily skin will want to apply every day!
How to use

Use as the last step in your AM skincare routine. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. If you don’t apply liberally, you will need to reapply every two hours after your skin is exposed to direct sunlight. If you plan to swim or perspire you must apply a water-resistant sunscreen.

Ratings & Reviews

Love this product!!

When I first squirted this product into my hand I was really surprised by how liquid-like it was. It's like white water! So I was sceptical but after applying it to my face and allowing it to absorb into my skin I really loved it! I have been using it for a couple of months now and can't see me wanting to change anytime soon. I really love how it absorbs into my skin and leaves my skin feeling really soft. I find my skin is really hydrated but I don't feel weighed down like I have with other moisturisers.

Smooth and Soft

I switched from the Skin Balancing SPF Moisturizer to this when my skin was getting dull and flakey (thanks to age). This does the trick with the flaky parts of my combination skin as it is a little thicker than the Skin Balancing SPF Moisturizer, and it creates a nice even skin tone without clogging your pores. And it dries so fast! The only downside to this is that it doesn't do great with my oily T-zone. But!!! Do no worry because Paula's Choice makes Shine Stopper which takes care of that pesky oil immediately. And even though I have to use another product to fight the oil, it is well worth it because this is so smooth and soft on my skin.

Best, lightest sun protection I've found

Just moisturizing enough, but not too heavy. Covers a large area of my face with just about 10 drops. Light and effective.

Excellent moisturiser

I love this moisturiser. I look forward to applying it. Its extremely light (almost watery) but I find it glides on. I have normal to combination skin and this product keeps my skin feeling smooth and moisturised. My only issue is that it is only an SPF 15 cream which is not high enough for all day use in Australia's harsh climate. I have dark skin so I'm not that bothered by it so I continue to purchase but I'm not sure I would if I had fair skin.

Great lightweight SPF moisturiser

I find this product to be a great lightweight, non comedogenic moisturiser. I live in Australia and it is essential to have a moisturiser with SPF in it and this is the first moisturiser that I have ever found that FEELS lightweight and doesn't cause pimples. I don't have a problem with it piling under my foundation (I use MAC Mineralise liquid foundation). I have used this product for over 12 months and it is perfect regardless of the season.

A great moisturiser - despite the drip!

I was a bit hesitant to use this after I smelt the strong sunscreen smell and saw how drippy it was. This is a very liquid moisturiser but goes on easily and absorbs really well. No white cast left over at all. A great daily moisturiser!

Terrible product

This product is so thin that when you squeeze it out on to you fingers, the "moisturizer" slips right through your fingers and starts dropping down your hand and on to the counter. Once I got the small amount left on my fingers to my face, it was like trying to rub water into my skin. It's so thin and water-like that it does not absorb. Terrible, terrible product. I emailed customer service first before writing this review, thinking surely my bottle must be defective. Nope. I received a reply that this super thin consistency is normal. Do not buy this product unless you want to spend your money on a moisturizer that drips all over your bathroom sink before even making it to your face.

Holy Grail of Sunscreen

I've used this product for a few months and it has become my holy grail of sunscreens. I have a medium skin tone with an oily t-zone and combination skin everywhere else. Generally sunscreen makes me more oily and makes me break out. This sunscreen is different. It doesn't leave a white cast on my skin like most sunscreens do; it doesn't cause any breakouts; and it doesn't make my skin appear more oilier than normal. It's a definable win for me and i would repurchase again and again.

I'm so angry I'm leaving Paula all together. SUNBURN

I spend extra money on skincare that I research well because I don't want to look like a Shar Pei before my time. I have spent a great deal of money on Paula's Choice products over the years and have bought this moisturizer more than once. BUT NEVER AGAIN. I put this "SPF 50" on, waited about 10 minutes, put on a huge-brimmed hat (rated UPF 50, thank you), and sat under a large patio umbrella (dark color for maximum UPF) in a mostly-shady spot. Two hours later my face is BURNED. I presume a limited amount of sun was able to bounce off a nearby car window and easily infiltrate this horrible product. This product has no PA rating (the only rating that matters in terms of preventing premature aging), but it still should have prevented actual burning since SPF ratings are mostly based on UVB ratings (those are the waves that cause cancer). That means this product is not only garbage, I can't know how much premature aging it has now caused me over the long haul. Thank you very much, Paula. I'll be going to Neogen (also cruelty free) as it not only costs less, but has a PA rating of +++ (the highest). I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS BRAND ON ANYTHING AGAIN. And I will be posting this rant on multiple websites/beauty boards.

Burned thanks to you

Yes I will continue to purchase

So I have been switching between the Skin Balancing and Extra Care Non-Greasy SPF's for the past 3 years and I decided to give this one a try due to the ingredient list and fluid texture. I have to say that the applicator was a pleasent surprise and there is basically zero wastage and no dried up product in the cap. This probably as close to shine free as you will get for an SPF and I have only notice positive changes to my skin since commencing use. I would consider switching back to the Skin Balancing SPF if they changed the packaging to match this product. I will also continue to purchase the Extra Care Non-Greasy SPF as this is water resistant and great for beach days and holidays. I would also like to know when the SPF rating labelling will be updated to reflect the American products.
