Ratings & Reviews

Highly rated but just didn't work for me

I bought this toner as it was meant to "eliminate dry, flaky skin while soothing redness and sensitivity". However I used it together with Skin Recovery Softening Cream Cleanser and found that it only made my skin more red and break out with pimple-like bumps. My skin also started becoming really flaky and I found myself having to moisturise my face every hour to hide the flakiness. I tried using only 1 product at a time but it didn't help. Just not suited to my skin I suppose. I also wasn't a huge fan of the smell. I finally ended up chucking them both out as I didn't think it was worth paying to return them both. I changed my skincare products and no longer have any issues.

non drying

I use this daily and my usually sensitive skin to some products has not reacted negatively to it. it has not dried my skin out. its the first PC toner i have tried but i dont feel i have any reason to try other products.

Still Irritated my skin

I tried the Moisture Boost Essential Hydrating Toner first, but I found this irritated my skin. I switched to this product, which is aimed at people with sensitive skin. I hoped that I would be able to use it without irritation. Unfortunately I found that this still also made my skin feel too dry and irritated. I'm not really sure if its the product itself, or the use of 'toners' at all for people with sensitive skin - the 4 step process might just be too many different products applied! Either way - I won't be bothering with toners and just sticking to cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising. Good side was that it had an interesting scent and it was delivered promptly. No problems with anything other than the fact it didn't suit my skin!

Beauriful product

I love this. I don't have dry skin or oily skin it's quite normal but I do suffer a lot from eczema and itchy sore skin when products make my sensitive skin flare up. I haven't had any luck with any other Paula's choice toners they all burned my skin - this toner is great beautiful texture but I am still unable to use it around my eyes. I think I will try the calming line next in the hope it will help stop the eczema and dry itchy sore feeling around my eyes. This is a great toner I'm just still on the look out for a calming toner and moisturiser that don't irritate my eyes.

My skin got eczema from this product!

I love Paula's choice, but unfortunately, this product was not good for my skin. It dried out, and I got eczema on my forehead (multiple tiny red dots on my forehead). As soon as I stopped using this toner, the dots disappeared. I am unhappy with this product.

Excellent for my combination skin

I purchased this product after experiencing dryness on my cheeks and mouth area. I prefer using a mix of moisture enhancing and light weight ingredients to balance out my skin. This toner and made a huge difference in my routine and calms the redness on my cheeks while not being too heavy. It smooths and softens and does not break me out or irritate me. A winner!

Great for dry skin

This product is a must for me, I really notice the difference when I do not use it. It is moisturising, soothing and has a great feel on the skin.

Have been using this for years! My skin feels instantly soothed--can't live without it. I also use it on my tattoos as a moisturiser!

Pore reducing!

I had always been scared of using toners on my sensitive skin but this is amazing! My pores have reduced in size, it gently helps to remove any leftover makeup after cleansing and it's also very hydrating. I am getting ready for my wedding and my makeup artist commented on how much my skin and pores have improved after only a few months of use!
