    fairly fantastic cleanser

My skin still isn't perfect but I break out way less compared to the 5 other cleansers I've tried this year, including the darker pink Paula's Choice cream cleanser which was too gentle for me, and the blue pore normalising cleanser which was too drying (same problems for Cetaphil gentle vs normal cleanser). A great middle ground if you have temperamental skin! Just needs to be paired with a thick moisturiser for me, at least in winter. Definitely only affordable for me when on big sales.

I have normal/combination sensitive skin, lots of closed comedones and whiteheads/uneven texture, no cystic acne. I also have mild excoriation disorder and it seems to support healing pretty okay- it's gentle enough on wounds while still helping keep your skin actually clean.

I also use The Ordinary's glycolic acid toner and Olay's micro-sculpting and retinol max moisturisers which have been fantastic in combination with this cleanser.

    My New Fave Cleanser

I used this cleanser whilst on holiday and my skin, very dry and tired from travelling, always felt soft and not dry after using this cleanser. Just need it to b e available in a larger size and I am straight in.

    Gel to FOAM

I was intrigued by the title and wanted to like this gel to cream cleanser but it foams too much. I loved the Hydralight, which I had used for many years. When the Hydralight line was discontinued they used the same non foaming formula for the Calm normal - oily line and I was happy to use it still. It was the perfect cleanser, so sad it has been discontinued in both lines now. There is no PC non-foaming normal to oily cleanser to choose anymore, so I use the Resist Optimal Results cleanser, as I prefer a pump and non foaming. However, it is a little too hydrating for me (even at 56!) and I get little breakouts daily. Stuck for an option now.
