Benefits

RESIST Retinol Skin-Smoothing Body Treatment melds key anti-ageing ingredients normally seen in facial moisturisers into a silky-textured, lightweight, and thoroughly hydrating body lotion for all skin types. It is designed to gently give skin the transforming power of pure retinol to help diminish the appearance of uneven skin tone, alleviate dry skin, and rejuvenate the feeling of soft but firmer-looking skin.

Uses a specialized retinol complex and potent antioxidants to intensively smooth and soften skin from the neck down. This silky, concentrated lotion, energized by the power of retinol, goes to work immediately to hydrate dry skin as well as give skin the essential ingredients it needs to look younger. Soothing emollients and plant oils provide an instant, healthy-looking glow you’ll love seeing and feeling.

The bottle for this full-sized product is made from 96% recycled material (excluding cap and orifice reducer).

How To Use

Apply a small amount to clean skin. May be used daily for all-over smoothing, or applied as a spot treatment where needed. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 15 or greater. If irritation occurs, reduce frequency or mix into your favorite body moisturiser (without retinol). If irritation persists, discontinue use.

    Brilliant

I have tried many many products and I'm sorry I didn't try this earlier

    Game changer

First night my skin soaked it in and by morning my arms were supple and smooth and very noticeable difference after one night. Can't wait to see my skin after 6 weeks. Won't stop using. Over 50 so need extra help now ! Weight training doesn't cut it alone

    Happy with all PC products

I have been using on dry patches like elbows and knees. I realised I love the texture of this and I've also recently been using on my neck and face in the evening. Why not I ask - it's a great night cream.

I can't get past the bad smell

I tried really hard to like this product, and I did use the entire bottle before leaving my review, but the overwhelming bad smell makes this product a no-go for me. I'm pretty tolerant of fragrance-free products not smelling great (I have to because I have allergies that are easily triggered by fragrances) but this one just smells really off putting.

I didn't find the price to be a con until I finished the bottle and could calculate the valued I really got from it. As a result, for the price you don't get a lot. I was surprised that the bottle lasted me as long as it did - approximately 6 weeks of almost daily use, BUT I didn't use it on my entire body. I used an average of 6 pumps on just arms, breasts, upper legs and buttocks.

While the lotion itself isn't greasy per se, the dimethicone feel is very noticeable even when using a small amount. Personally I really dislike the feel of that slick, silicone feel on my skin because it's impossible to gauge just how hydrated your skin is after use. For this reason my skin never really felt nourished by this product and there was no visible improvement suggesting it was sufficiently hydrating enough for my dry-normal skin.

It did slightly improve my KP but when compared to other products that also target KP I'd have to say this one has been the least effective and the one taking longest to show any improvement.

So what are the positives? Well, it contains a decent amount of retinol compared to other body-specific retinol…

    Magic!

I use this product to reduce the appearance of cellulite. I was told there's nothing you can do for cellulite but I tried this anyway, and I'm glad I did.

Love, but would love it more if it came in a larger size.

I absolutely love this body lotion. I've never had much of an issue with my skin until recently, being in my mid thirties, i've noticed unfavourable lumps and bumps. It has made such a difference to the texture of my skin, I can't stop stroking my arms! The only negative is that if you are using it on several parts of your body, daily, it runs out pretty quickly (even if you use a small amount as instructed), which makes it a pretty expensive part of a skincare routine to maintain. Paula's choice, please launch in a larger size :)
