How To Use

STEP 4: BOOST GLOW

Dispense 2-3 drops into the palm of your hand and then apply to your face. Add a couple more drops if you will also be applying to your neck and chest. During the day, finish with a moisturiser with SPF 15 or greater. Can be applied under the eye area, avoiding the eye itself.

How is the new C15 Super Booster formula different from the original?

While the original formula was effective, our best-selling vitamin C booster is now even better at revitalising your complexion and elevating your skin care routine. The new formula combines the benefits of pure vitamin C with targeted peptides and ergothioneine, which provide anti-ageing benefits. These peptides help to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while improving the skin's underlying support for greater resiliency. Overall, the new formula is more stable, gentler and performs even better than the original. Bonus —it smells better too!

Is the effectiveness of the C15 Super Booster reduced if I mix it with other products?

No. The formula was designed to complement the ingredients in our serums and non-SPF moisturisers. We recommend you just don’t mix it into your sunscreen because mixing any non-SPF skin care product with sunscreens can reduce their effectiveness against UV rays.

Is the C15 Super Booster good for blemish-prone skin?

Yes, the skin-loving benefits of vitamin C plus key antioxidants in this booster support healthy skin which in turn may eliminate some of the triggers that drive blemishes. These ingredients can also help fade post-breakout marks.

Is the C15 Super Booster good for rosacea or sensitive skin?

Yes, most people with sensitive skin can use vitamin C safely. The amount of vitamin C (15%) in C15 Super Booster is potent, but the formula is suitable for sensitive skin because of the additional skin-soothing ingredients and extra formulary steps taken to ensure its stability and gentleness. Vitamin C isn’t known to cause skin irritation, but if you notice dryness, redness or stinging, we recommend reducing application frequency, or mixing 2-3 drops into your other serums or non-SPF moisturiser. If you've experienced sensitisation to higher amounts of vitamin C, we recommend you consider our C5 Super Boost Moisturizer which contains 5% vitamin C.

My skin tends to be sensitive to vitamin C, but I still want to use this. Will applying it a few times per week still be beneficial?

Yes. Although once or twice-daily application is recommended, you will absolutely still see benefits from C15 Super Booster if it's applied less often. However, results might take a bit longer to notice due to the less frequent application. As with any skin care product, you need to pay attention to how your skin responds and adjust usage (or products) accordingly.

Are there any products or ingredients the C15 Super Booster cannot be used with?

The only ingredients you shouldn’t use with vitamin C are copper peptides. Copper peptides can oxidise pure vitamin C, making it less effective on skin. When using vitamin C and copper peptides in your routine, we recommend using one in the morning and the other at night to ensure maximum effectiveness. Aside from this exception, you can typically use vitamin C along with other ingredients such as retinol, AHA, BHA, niacinamide and more. How does the packaging of the C15 Super Booster keep the product stable?

To protect the potency of the formula, we've opted for a UV coated glass container (to shield from light) and an internal restrictor which drastically reduces airflow per use. In rigorous testing, these packaging safeguards proved adequate at preserving the effectiveness of the vitamin C and other key ingredients in this formula for a period of three months once opened.

    Effective. Skin looks brighter in a week.

    This one is the REAL DEAL. I'm in my mid 20s now and hope to god this one and the retinol from Paula's stay available for as long as I live. I'm not a dermatologist, but I know how to review scientific research because of my own field and spent a lot of time learning what makes a Vitamin C product effective so I don't pour money into useless gimmicks. I eventually chose this product because it ticked all the boxes and I've used it for years now with amazing results. Vitamin C is notoriously unstable and difficult to use without some irritation, yet it's one of the few ingredients alongside retinol that have demonstrable benefits. So just like medicine, it's going to have some "side effects" to be effective. I once used the so-called gentle and natural products from other brands that are somehow free of compromise, but realised I was only paying to make my skin texture temporarily feel "nice" after applying them whilst doing absolutely nothing to change the skin itself. It takes months see real improvement rather than the illusion of it, as well as a concentrated Vitamin C product with ferulic acid to keep the ingredient active (which hardly any brands have) and accepting a few cons like shorter shelf life and oxidation, some initial irritation, or odd packaging. So it's a bit sad to see some reviews criticising those things when the alternative would be a pretty useless product. Just make sure you work up to it slowly, stay moisturised, don't combine with retinol or…

    I think this saved me from stretch marks!

    For years I have used this on and off on my face, it brightens and tightens/firms my skin without irritating it. When I was pregnant I started using it on the belly as well in hopes to prevent stretch marks (my mum had terrible ones) and it did! I did also use a vitamin e oil at the same time but I believe this vitamin C booster also played a key role in collagen production and preventing tears deep in skin

    Love this serum

    I finally find a pure ascorbic acid serum that doesn't irritate my skin. I have normal to dry skin and have been using a vitamin c derivative (THD) for a long time just because I have tried ascorbic acid from many brands and my skin can't tolerate them.

    I'm so happy that I can use this every day, and my skin barrier seems to get stronger after a while. I definitely see an improvement in my skin tone and overall texture. I will continue to repurchase this. (a bottle lasted me about two months with everyday use of 4 to 5 drops, and it's very fresh until the last drop)
